The SBA6 is not simply the next numbered replacement for every existing A-Series brace. Its published specifications place it in a distinct position within the lineup. It is narrower than the SBA3, SBA4, and SBA5, but it is not the lightest or shortest option.

The SBA6 was designed in conjunction with Die Free Co., an independent firearms-accessories brand known for purpose-built products including the Kung Fu Grip.
The collaboration is most visible in the SBA6’s streamlined geometry. Compared with the other adjustable A-Series braces, the SBA6 reduces maximum width and visual bulk while retaining an adjustable strap, ambidextrous QD sling attachment, and five-position adjustment.
SB Tactical remains the manufacturer, with Die Free Co. officially credited as the design collaborator.

SBA6 Compatibility
The SBA6 is designed for firearm platforms capable of accepting a mil-spec carbine receiver extension. Compatible applications can include many AR-15, AR-9, and other AR-pattern configurations.
The package does not include the receiver extension. Receiver-extension dimensions can vary slightly between manufacturers, so actual fit can differ depending on the tube and platform.
The SBA6 belongs to the adjustable A-Series family. It should not be confused with SB Tactical’s fixed, folding, or proprietary PDW braces.
