International Restrictions for Less-Lethal Launchers, High-Energy Airguns, and Similar Products

Some products sold by HR Tactical Innovations, including high-energy air-powered launchers, less-lethal training pistols, CO2 launchers, pepper ball compatible devices, and realistic air-powered markers, may be restricted, regulated, or prohibited in certain countries. These restrictions may be based on muzzle energy, feet-per-second rating, projectile type, appearance, intended use, firearm classification, or local import rules.

International customers are fully responsible for confirming that any item they purchase can be legally imported, possessed, transported, and used in their country, province, state, or local jurisdiction before placing an order. HR Tactical Innovations cannot provide legal advice, determine final import eligibility, or guarantee customs clearance.

Canada Import Notice

Canadian customers must use extra caution when ordering high-energy launchers, less-lethal pistols, realistic air-powered devices, or products capable of exceeding Canadian airgun thresholds. Canadian authorities may review both muzzle velocity and muzzle energy when determining whether an item is considered an unregulated airgun, regulated firearm, restricted firearm, prohibited device, or otherwise restricted import.

Canada generally uses a threshold of 500 FPS and 5.7 joules when evaluating whether certain airguns fall under firearm licensing and registration requirements. Products that exceed applicable limits, resemble real firearms, or are configured as pistol-style launchers may be subject to additional restrictions, licensing, registration, transport authorization, or import denial.

Before ordering, Canadian customers must contact the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), the Canadian Firearms Program, or the appropriate Canadian authority to confirm whether the specific product can be legally imported. If requested by HR Tactical Innovations, the customer must provide written confirmation, permits, licenses, or other documentation before shipment. Orders may be cancelled if eligibility cannot be verified.

HR Tactical Innovations will not ship pepper, OC, chemical irritant, or similar self-defense projectiles internationally where those items are restricted or prohibited.

France and Other International Destinations

Some countries classify air-powered launchers by muzzle energy. For example, France generally treats non-pyrotechnic projectile launchers between 2 and 20 joules as Category D items, while products over 20 joules may fall into a more restricted category and require additional authorization, licensing, or documentation. Because classification can depend on the exact product, projectile, power setting, and intended use, French customers must verify import eligibility with French customs or the appropriate weapons authority before ordering.

Other countries may have lower limits or stricter rules. For example, the United Kingdom applies strict limits to air pistols and air rifles, and Germany regulates air-powered products based on joule limits, markings, licensing, and import requirements. Customers outside the United States must confirm all applicable laws before ordering.

Documentation May Be Required Before Shipment

For any international order involving a high-energy launcher, less-lethal product, air-powered pistol, realistic replica-style device, pepper ball compatible product, or similar restricted item, HR Tactical Innovations may require the customer to provide documentation showing that the product can be legally imported. This may include import permits, firearm or airgun licenses, written customs confirmation, proof of approved classification, or other required authorization.

If the customer cannot provide the required documentation, HR Tactical Innovations may cancel the order, refuse shipment, or restrict the shipment to legally permitted items only. Any customs seizure, refusal, return, storage fee, duty, tax, fine, permit issue, or legal consequence resulting from an attempted import is the customer’s responsibility.

Eligible non-custom returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and in their original, undamaged packaging.

Eligible standard returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. EU withdrawal returns are handled under applicable statutory rights; prohibited restocking fees do not apply, though lawful diminished-value deductions may.

Custom products, sale items, gift cards, perishable or personal-care goods, and hazardous materials are non-returnable except where applicable law or an approved warranty or defect claim requires otherwise.

Warranty Coverage: Manufacturer warranties apply to all standard products. Any defects, malfunctions, or performance issues are handled directly by the manufacturer per their terms.

International shipping availability depends on the product, destination, applicable restrictions, and the services offered at checkout. Not every product can be shipped to every country or region.

Import duties, VAT, taxes, brokerage fees, permits, and documentation may apply based on the destination and are not included unless checkout states otherwise.
