The Real Deal Airsoft High Speed Piston Head is a part of our line of Future Generation products where each Future Gen part is designed to work flawlessly together, significantly boosting performance!

This piston head has been designed from the ground up here at The Real Deal Airsoft with the intention of being the most reliable high performing piston head that is able to achieve FPS stability under the most demanding set ups. As well as to be the #1 go to piston head for all builds!

  User Notes - 2x O rings will be included. The Black O Ring Seals much faster under brushless cycle times. If you are building a fast rate of fire build or using a  brushless motor, use the Black O ring. If you are playing in harsh conditions, outdoors often, or have a brushed motor, use the brown O ring. 
  

Stable FPS - With airsoft technology advancing, gearboxes are cycling faster and faster. Under these wicked fast cycle times and in entering that realm of performance, other issues start to occur. Heavy piston heads and poorly designed porting of the piston head chronically results in O ring inflation issues under rapid rates of fire and full auto. Users will experience FPS loss and mis feeding. Jake's main focus on this piston head was to Pressurize & Direct Air flow. 

Durability - We wanted to design a piston head that can be used for virtually any v2 / v3 build type. High FPS / Low FPS / DMR / DSG. The material used is a proprietary blend of reinforced POM that offer superior strength &  low friction.  Each unit is perfect and uniform as it has been injected molded and then post machine processed to give you Real Deal consistency. 

Compatibility - Our Real Deal High Speed Piston head is not limited to "High Speed" Builds. It has been designed to be able to work with virtually all pistons / cylinders / cylinder heads. Will work with any brand piston. If not using our brand Piston and Cylinder Head, then be sure to always tune & check your Angle of Engagement.

Light weight - Weighing in at a total of 6.5g including every component, the reduced weight will decrease the stress induced on your gearbox. Able to cycle and inflate easily at hight speeds. 

Technical Notes

The High Speed Piston Head will come ready to assemble. First press the brass insert into the center of the piston head. Place the steel screw in the red bolt sleeve, and the red bolt sleeve into the black thrust bushing. Insert into piston and screw on piston head. 

Some users place a bonding agent on the lip of the brass insert. This helps with disassembly if you are planning on using a strong thread locker. During Testing, no Thread locker was used, we cranked down the stainless screw and the piston head held on strong. You can apply a small drop of glue under the brass lip, as you tighten the screw the brass piece will be pressed into its final position. 

LUBRICATE O RING & CYLINDER - Real Deal Multipurpose grease reccomended. 

We wanted to maximize O ring inflation in order to keep up with absurd rates of fire, & without full auto FPS loss. We achieved this by forcing air into the center, having the port holes designed with concentric angles. Internally we then designed tapered air routes which gradually increase in diameter creating a high to low pressure system. Air is forced into a small space from violently accelerating forward creating highly pressurized air.  Having the gradually increasing tapered channel allows a low pressure zone for the air to vent to easily. High pressure is always trying to rush to low pressure. We then ensured the tolerances around our o ring are tight to prevent as much wasted air which are known as air leaks, which also show up as FPS inconsistencies on your chronograph. This results in a wildly consistent, FPS stable system that is able to inflate and maintain a seal under the most demanding set ups.  

We also designed this piston head to limit as much deadspace as possible, flattening the facial profile as much to spread out impact stress while maintaining concentric air flow. 

This High Speed Piston Head will work with any piston, however it has been designed with our elongated Ultimate Piston in mind to achieve the Perfect Drop in AOE with your sector gear. The overall dimensions of our piston head are shorter in overall height compared to the average piston head placing the piston in the perfect position when using our  Real Deal Cylinder head + Real Deal High Speed Piston Head and Real Deal Ultimate Piston.
