The UV5R might be the most popular handheld radio ever sold. This model has received an upgrade to 8 watts from the standard 5 Watt. They will come factory unlocked for use in commercial bands like fire department frequencies.

If you choose the programming option, I will use your shipping zip code to program local ham radio towers and program FRS/ GMRS frequencies. You can listen on these frequencies legally but cannot transmit without a license. The program option is $29 added to the price of the radio. I can only program radios purchased on my site. The program option will take an extra day for shipping.
