Most paintball fields require an approved barrel cover, barrel sleeve, or barrel blocker whenever the marker is off the field or not actively in play.

A barrel plug goes into the barrel, while a barrel cover or sleeve goes over the barrel and is usually held with an elastic cord. Many fields prefer barrel covers over plugs.

Choose a cover that fits securely over your barrel, uses a reliable retention cord, and meets your field’s safety rules. Longer barrels or unusual muzzle devices may need a larger sleeve.
