Part-Time Retail & Ecommerce Manager
Part-time salaried retail and ecommerce leadership role supporting the Eastpointe storefront, customer experience, inventory flow, and Shopify-based ecommerce operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day retail experience during public storefront hours
- Help customers choose paintball, airsoft-adjacent, gel blaster, load-bearing, and range-related products that fit their actual needs
- Learn and explain product compatibility, fitment, shipping limitations, and practical use cases
- Help maintain inventory organization, receiving, merchandising, and basic store presentation
- Support ecommerce tasks such as product listing notes, product data cleanup, order questions, and customer feedback loops
- Help document recurring customer questions so product pages, FAQs, and buying guides can improve over time
- Support events, launches, promotions, and customer-facing projects as needed
- Communicate clearly with ownership about priorities, customer issues, operational gaps, and growth opportunities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Retail sales, retail operations, specialty retail, sporting goods, or customer-facing sales experience required
- Strong customer service, communication, and product-learning ability required
- Comfort learning detailed product fitment, compatibility, shipping, and ecommerce workflows
- Paintball, airsoft, tactical gear, sporting goods, or related equipment knowledge strongly preferred
- Reliable availability for a part-time evening and weekend schedule
- Ability to lift and move boxes, organize inventory, and support in-store merchandising as needed
- Comfort using computers, spreadsheets, Shopify/admin systems, or similar retail tools
Bonus points if you have
- Shopify or ecommerce store management experience
- Paintball, airsoft, magfed, or tactical gear product knowledge
- Social media, short-form video, or content creation experience
- CAD design, 3D printing, or product prototyping experience
- Airsoft tech, paintball marker repair, or strong mechanical knowledge
- Cerakote, paint work, refinishing, fabrication, or custom build experience
- Event sales, booth setup, field/vendor, or trade show experience
- Email marketing, SEO, product listing, inventory, or spreadsheet/data experience
