The Retail Associate is focused on helping customers choose the right paintball, airsoft-adjacent, gel blaster, load-bearing, and related gear for their needs. The right person should be a player or active user of the sport/gear category, be good with people, and be willing to learn HRTI product lines, compatibility details, and store procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and help them find the right products for their needs
  • Explain basic product differences, compatibility, fitment, and practical use cases
  • Support sales, merchandising, restocking, product organization, and general storefront presentation
  • Answer basic product questions and know when to escalate technical details
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment
  • Support events, demos, or content needs when scheduled

Qualifications

  • Customer service, retail, field, sales, or hands-on gear experience required
  • Must have enough paintball, airsoft, gel blaster, tactical gear, or related player experience to speak credibly with customers
  • Strong communication and sales confidence required
  • Reliable part-time weekend availability required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to learn product fitment, compatibility, safety, and policy details

Bonus points if you have

  • Magfed paintball experience
  • Airsoft tech, marker repair, custom build, or equipment setup experience
  • Retail sales, pro shop, field staff, or event booth experience
  • Social media, product demo, or short-form content comfort
  • Knowledge of load-bearing gear, optics, air systems, barrels, magazines, or parts compatibility
