Gauntlet Arms 10" "Tone" M-Lok Crescent Slant-Pro Handguard met Anti-Rotation Tabs

De handguard is een essentieel onderdeel van elke AR-15 custom build. Een van de populairste soorten handguards zijn de freefloat handguards. Deze handguards bedekken de loop van het geweer en worden bevestigd aan de upper receiver met een barrel nut. Handguards bij een AR-15 build vervullen veel cruciale functies. Een daarvan is het beschermen van de hand van de schutter tegen de hitte van de loop. De handguard biedt ook iets om vast te houden, wat de stabiliteit van de schutter verhoogt. Elke handguard wordt geleverd met bevestigingspunten voor sights/optics en bespaart toch ruimte voor extra accessoires die kunnen bijdragen aan de esthetische uitstraling van de build.

Het wordt aanbevolen dat handguards het gassysteem van de AR-15 volledig bedekken, dus houd bij het zoeken naar een handguard rekening met de lengte van je gassysteem. Over deze Handguard: De "Tone" van Gauntlet Arms is een AR-15 Freefloat Handguard van 10" lang en gefreesd met een M-Lok accessoire montagesysteem.

Montagesysteem: Om een stevige en eenvoudige montage van verschillende accessoires in diverse posities mogelijk te maken, maakt de "Tone" gebruik van het M-Lok montagesysteem

Sneden: Om de structurele integriteit intact te houden en toch gewicht te besparen, zijn er langwerpige sneden ontworpen in deze "Tone" handguard.

Anti Rotation Tabs: Deze AR-15 Freefloat Handguard wordt geleverd met anti-rotatie tabs. Deze anti-rotatie tabs worden gebruikt om de uitlijning tussen de bovenste rail van de handguard en de bovenste rail van de upper receiver te behouden. Anti-rotatie tabs worden het meest gebruikt bij Mil-Spec of gesmede AR-15 upper receivers omdat AR-15 uppers gefreesd uit billet aluminium te smal zijn om ze te laten passen.

Materiaal van Handguard: Vanwege de noodzaak om lichte maar sterke handguards te hebben, is de Gauntlet Arms "Tone" AR-15 freefloat handguard vervaardigd uit 6061-T6 vliegtuigkwaliteit aluminium extrusie.

Finish: Type 3 hardcoat anodiseren wordt gebruikt bij de (Model) handguard om de corrosiebestendigheid te verhogen.

QD: Om het bevestigen/verwijderen van je sling te vereenvoudigen, wordt de "Tone" handguard geleverd met 4 QD-mounts die al in het handguard zijn gefreesd.
