We redesigned the entire rack, changing the dimensions of the pick up tooth, having the 2nd tooth removed with the 3rd tooth cut to a 45 degree angle. Our DSG Racks have a total of 7 teeth removed, which means on a 8 tooth Duel Sector Gear, you will have one tooth on the rack after the release tooth. This adds integrity to the rack and saves weight. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHigh Speed Cutouts throughout the body. Cutouts below the rails as well as the entire top portion of the body, a total of 28 cut outs. Reducing the weight as much as possible, our larger stronger piston only weighs 15.8g for the DSG and 16.5g for the SSG Version. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Racks are Metal Injected Chromoly Steel which means our dimensions are always perfect. We then put our racks through heat treatment to a specific hardness, and then we apply our special surface treatments.   \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese Treatments we used increase the life of the part, increase durability and reduce friction. The TiN coating on the DSG Rack offers the ability to see your wear pattern over time. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor our SSG racks we went with a special coating that is superior to standard black nitriding. You will see that our racks have a lightish black finish as if you mixed a hint of grey into black. That is the appearance of the rack. You will notice that our rack is not centered and the rack is indeed raised to mesh better with your sector gear inside the gearbox. This increases the Pistons stability. Under fast cycle rates, this slight movement of the piston makes a difference. Users will experience FPS loss and mis feeding. Jake's main focus on this piston head was to Pressurize \u0026amp; Direct Air flow. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDurability\u003c\/strong\u003e - We wanted to design a piston head that can be used for virtually any v2 \/ v3 build type. High FPS \/ Low FPS \/ DMR \/ DSG. First press the brass insert into the center of the piston head. Place the steel screw in the red bolt sleeve, and the red bolt sleeve into the black thrust bushing. Insert into piston and screw on piston head. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSome users place a bonding agent on the lip of the brass insert. This helps with disassembly if you are planning on using a strong thread locker. During Testing, no Thread locker was used, we cranked down the stainless screw and the piston head held on strong. You can apply a small drop of glue under the brass lip, as you tighten the screw the brass piece will be pressed into its final position. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLUBRICATE O RING \u0026amp; CYLINDER - Real Deal Multipurpose grease reccomended. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe wanted to maximize O ring inflation in order to keep up with absurd rates of fire, \u0026amp; without full auto FPS loss. We achieved this by forcing air into the center, having the port holes designed with concentric angles. Internally we then designed tapered air routes which gradually increase in diameter creating a high to low pressure system. Air is forced into a small space from violently accelerating forward creating highly pressurized air.  Having the gradually increasing tapered channel allows a low pressure zone for the air to vent to easily. High pressure is always trying to rush to low pressure. We then ensured the tolerances around our o ring are tight to prevent as much wasted air which are known as air leaks, which also show up as FPS inconsistencies on your chronograph.
